Position Overview Beyond Limits is seeking a creative and passionate Senior Software Engineer to join our team. This position entails working within teams to build out cutting-edge software systems interfacing with cutting-edge A.I.

(Artificial Intelligence) technologies. This role has exposure to many different technologies and business verticals creating huge room for learning and professional growth. Job Duties/Responsibilities Lead and contribute actively to architecture & design decisions, and implementation discussionsDesign & implement robust, scalable, high performance and low latency RESTful APIsDesign & implement scalable microservices for deployment using container technologiesEvaluate and improve existing algorithms for production deploymentAutomate build, deployment, monitoring and upgradesWork closely with the team that follows the Agile software development lifecycle processWrite clean testable codeMinimum Qualifications 14+ years of software design and development experience, strong fundamentals in computer science with experience in data structures, algorithms, and software designBS or MS in Computer Science or a related degreeStrong knowledge in some of the following programming languages: Java, Scala, Python, Cypher Query LanguageHave the willingness and ability to learn new programming languages, tools and methodologiesHave the ability to work independently in a project, with strong analytical and problem-solving skillsExperience or familiarity with developing RESTful web APIsStrong written and verbal communication skillsPreferred Qualifications Familiarity with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle or AuroraExperience with big data tools and technologies like Kafka, Spark, Flink is a strong plusExperience with developing software with graph databases.

Experience with Neo4j is a plusFamiliarity with NoSQL databases like MongoDB, Cassandra, CouchDB, and/or ElasticsearchKnowledge of Cloud Technologies and Distributed SystemsExperience with AWS/Azure, Docker and Kubernetes is a strong plusPlease note: This position is located in our Glendale, CA headquarters and is eligible to participate in the company's hybrid 3/2 work model.Hiring Range: The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA is $183,846 to $196,546 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
