Position Overview Beyond Limits is seeking a creative and passionate Software Engineer to join our implementation team. This position entails working within cross-functional teams alongside Data Scientists to build out software systems interfacing with cutting-edge A.I.

(Artificial Intelligence) technologies. This role has exposure to many different technologies and business verticals creating huge room for learning and professional growth.Job Duties/Responsibilities Develop Java-based software using industry best practices Writing and implementing efficient and reusable code in Java Identify opportunities to improve existing Java code Implement RESTful APIs defined by the system architectEvaluate, debug and improve existing complex algorithms for production deploymentImplement scalable web microservices for deployment using Docker and Kubernetes in either public or private cloudsCollaborate closely with Technical Leads and Data Scientists to implement solutions for our customers' hardest problemsWrite clean and efficient testable codePlanning, designing, debugging, and coding software solutions for Java application development Minimum Qualifications 8+ years of software design and development experience, strong fundamentals in computer science with experience in data structures, algorithms, and software design BS or MS in Computer Science or a related degree The ability to work independently when required in a project, with a strong ability to problem solve Experience with RESTful API design Preferred Qualifications Experience with containers (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) Hands on experience with the following relational databases: MySQL, PostGRES Technical familiarity with NoSQL databases like MongoDB, Cassandra, and/or Elasticsearch Please note: This position is located in our Glendale, CA headquarters and is eligible to participate in the company's hybrid 3/2 work model.

Hiring Range: The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA is $160,776 to $170,500 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or company stock options may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
